Dear Diary,
Today was a crazy day. I went on a train for a dinner party that Lobsty invited me to.
The train was great, there were so many fancy cars.
We were all sitting down eating dinner eating some delectable steaks.
Then the lights went out and there was silence followed by a really scary noise and then I saw. Someone had been murdered! I couldn’t believe it and I was really scared. Lobsty was shaking like crazy. We moved into the main car and then it happened again, Mr. Dixon had been murdered. It was like a real life game of Clue.
Just in the train car, with the letter opener. Lobsty and I knew we had to get on the case. We talked to the butler and Mrs. Winchester but they had solid alibis that could be corroberated by the steward. We were just about to make our way through the rest of the party guests when the captain came stumbling in.
He declared that he knew who the killer was. He was bleeding profusely, he had been stabbed! He revealed that it was the Chef! He had poisoned the first victim because she saw him preparing to kill the second victim, who was his real target all along. The chef cut in and confessed, Mr. Dixon gave him a scathing review twenty years ago and it cost him his restaurant. The chef had been biding his time and plotting his revenge ever since. He intended to poison Mr. Dixon but had to improvise when he was observed by the first victim Mrs. Hetfield. He couldn’t use poison again, it would be too obvious. Then the chef lunged at the captain, trying to escape and the lights went out again. I was so scared, Diary. Then the lights came back on and the captain and chef were bowing.
I was really confused until Lobsty started laughing like crazy. It turns out Diary, that it was all a show. None of it was real, Lobsty played a prank on me. I’m going to get him back so good. It was such a relief to know it was all fake, I was so terrified.
Goodnight Diary Until Tomorrow,
KoonKoon the Brave
