Dear Diary,

Today was awesome! Mommy and I hung out with Ariel, one of my moms humans. She was a lot of fun and she brought over Jennie, a penguin who is really cool and she watches The Walking Dead too, like me. Ariel and mom had a sleepover on Saturday so she was here when I woke up. We went to the bank and the store then Ariel dropped us off at home and she went back home to make chorizo for the little humans she made.

Then Oscar texted mom and you’ll never guess what he wanted to do. Wine tasting! For free too! I just know that when the humans start handing out free wine, I’m definitely not complaining. And Aunt Kat even went too! She’s my mom’s best human. We went to the Leoness Cellars winery and it was so cool.

There was a whole list of wines and we got to choose which ones we wanted (mom let me try a little bit of each one because I’m only 20, just one more year to go). We had 6 tastings but the bartender didn’t even count every round, so we got a few extra. The White Merlot was amazing! It was by far my favorite, even over the port. The port was really good, it had a cinnamon notes and a yummy smooth chocolate taste. And you paired it with a yummy chocolate truffle. I love chocolate! It was just like that scene in Frozen, except I’m not a girl, of course, well duh you know that Diary.

The bartender’s name was Garrett and he was really nice. He even let me go behind the bar, so I could get my picture taken with the wines.

This is a really cool guy, his name is Mike.  He owns the winery and is the reason all this amazing wine exists.  He was nice enough to take a picture with me.  It was so cool, like a picture with a celebrity!  I promised him a yelp review saying how amazing the winery was.

Then we went outside and there was a live band.  I got in the guitar case and pretended I was part of the band.  My paws are too small for a real guitar. I’ve tried with mom’s and get bass guitar too but no luck.

We got back in the car and drove to Aunt Kat’s winery, McLaren’s.  Oscar is a member of Leoness.  We had to wait in line to get her monthly wine and then we sat down for the tasting.

We had 5 tastings here, the wine was really good and we made some new friends and they were really nice. One of them is from Mexico, that’s a whole nother country, so cool. The bartender, Glenn was really cool and he also let me get behind the bar. The other bartender, Maggie was nice too but I didn’t talk to her that much.

Then Oscar bought us a full glass of whichever wine we wanted. He is so awesome! We left after that, Aunt Kat was really really sick and I felt so bad for her. We went to Cici’s Pizza Buffet and it was so good. Some of the best Alfredo Sauce I’ve ever tasted, so good. Then we went home and mom started a new show, chuck it’s really good so far. Momo’s dad, Ron, recommended it to mom at work.

Oh, I can’t believe I forgot. Today I finally reached 100 followers on Instagram!!! I was so excited! Now I’m going to try for 300, I just love sharing my pictures and stories with my friends.

It was a really great day, now I’m going to go give that yelp review that I promised Mike I would about Leoness.
