The first six posts are quite long. So now we will be releasing each chapter split into weekly segments of ~250 words (starting with post # 7). The segments will be posted every Wednesday.
We hope this will make reading them more practical.
Please leave some feedback, if you have any thoughts. It would make our day, thank you!

They put on the ratty and soiled clothes provided to them. They looked the part, Momo thought as they said their goodbyes and climbed back into the car. Poor survivors lost and searching for help.

“Now our base is quite a bit different than yours. You will see what I mean when we get there. The entrance can be a bit disorienting, if you’re not prepared for it”, ChipChip said calmly.
Ducky and Momo shared an apprehensive look.
“Oh nothing to be worried about, we don’t have Dementors guarding it or anything: it’s just a little different. We have a maze of mirrors that are twisted and work differently than most human mirrors. They are disorienting and make you look funny and distorted, you’ll see”, ChipChip said reassuringly.
“Ok, but…”, Ducky started.
“Why? Well, when zombies walk up to it, they see a distorted version of themselves. It doesn’t scream food here, insert fork. They seem to just walk away, so we don’t have to worry about accumulative horde type problems. We’ll need to link paws, like a chain, so we don’t get separated. Trust me, that’s not fun”, ChipChip answered with what looked suspiciously like a smile.

“Ok, we’re here. Take these lanterns, you’ll need them. Are you ready”? ChipChip asked them. They nodded and got out of the car.
“Remember, no matter what. Do not let go”, he said pointedly.
