Dear Diary,

Today I was feeling bored on my lunch break from work so I racked my raccoon brain and decided that I wanted something to read.

Of course work is too far away from my cloom, so I couldn’t go home to get a book.  My cloom is where I sleep because it’s my room but technically it’s a closet, Grandma came up with the name, pretty clever.  I have a cupboard under the stairs just like my favorite, Harry Potter.  Although my cloom is a lot nicer and is filled with books, my PS3 and my toys like my Sonic Screwdriver

Plus the muggles I live with are a lot nicer than the Dursleys.  Sorry for the random tangent Diary, plus I’m sure you know most of this already.  Anyways, so I said by to Marge and told her to man the phones til I got back.  I grabbed some Hawaiian BBQ and headed down to the public library.  I love the library, it’s almost magical, the feeling that you get when you see all of those books.  Plus the book smell is amazing.  I had the hardest time deciding what to check out.  There were so many good options and I wanted them all.

I found a ladder on a rail, like in Beauty and the Beast.  I climbed to the top and pondered my choices.

Then I saw “The Subtle Knife” by Philip Pullman.  I decided to check it out because the first book, “The Golden Compass” was really good and was recommended to my by my freshman English teacher, Mr. Ho, who always recommended the best books.  I went back to work, ate my Hawaiian macaroni salad (my favorite!).

I opened my book and lost myself in another world.  Then I went back to work and took over the phones so Allison and Joe could take their breaks.  It was a great day and I got to read even more on the bus home.

Now it’s time to catch up on the new Game of Thrones.
